<p>Hey guys! I thought it would be a good idea to have a thread for all of us for sure going to OSU so we can talk about all of the exciting things we’ll be doing in a few months and get to know people prior to going! :)</p>

What are you majoring in?</p>
<p>Super excited! My sister will be a senior there. I’ll probably major in finance. You guys?</p>
<p>I plan on majoring in Biomedical Engineering! Ahhh can’t wait to apply for housing!</p>
<p>Very excited to be at Ohio State as well. Will be majoring in engineering.
Have any of you guys gotten to see some of the dorms? I’m currently trying to figure out where I want to live (south vs north) and which dorm(s) I prefer. I only got to see smith steeb on my tour.</p>
<p>Me too, but I’ve YouTube stalked like every dorm tour available at OSU (the videos all suck). I want to be in North Campus, preferably Jones Tower or Lane Ave.</p>
<p>I like the more ‘studious’ vibe that north is supposed to have, but I don’t like that most of the dorms are quads…seems too cramped for me.</p>
<p>That’s exactly how I feel. That’s why I’m going for Jones and Lane. Jones has only singles, besides like one or two rooms, and Lane has some singles and a decent amount of doubles (it used to be a hotel)</p>
<p>What have you guys heard about smith steeb hall?</p>
<p>It’s a nice residence hall, especially if you only want a double. The gender neutral bathrooms are a little strange sounding, but I think it would be totally fine and manageable. Overall I thought it was a nice place. Was there anything specific you wanted to know?</p>
<p>I’m applied to the scholars program and want to join the Politics Society and Law Program. Do you know if an entire floor is dedicated to that program or are we intermixed with regular students. Also, how is the food?</p>
<p>So who else got into Scholar’s? Should I be upset I didn’t get accepted to Honors or is Scholar’s really worthwhile?</p>

<p>Yeah I got it on my personal email, I haven’t checked the others so I don’t know if it was sent there</p>
<p>I was accepted into Scholar’s and went online to enter my program preferences. It said Health Sciences and Biological Sciences are the two most sought after programs, does anyone have an idea of how likely it is that you actually receive your first preference? I’m not sure if I’m even interested in the program if I don’t get one of those two.</p>
