Official Thread for UCLA Fall 2014 Wait-Listed Students

■■■■

THIS IS THE BEST DAY EVER AND IM GRADUATING HIGH SCHOOL

OH LORD

THANKS FOR HEARING MY PRAYERS. I LOVE YOU FAM AND THE HOMIE DIVYA

I just checked the admission portal and I was not accepted into UCLA. However, I did not receive an email before hand telling me a decision had been made. So I would say to check the admission portal to see if you were accepted or not because the whole thing about emailing you when the decision is made is not true.

Also, I just wanted to say congratulations to everyone that was accepted and if you were not, it is not the end of the world. Things always happen for a reason.

I would like to thank this group of thread members for always being hopeful when I could not. THANK YOU SO MUC

Same here, not admitted. The letter is up in the portal, but no email yet. @mdelariv, I think there will be, going by the posts of waitlist people from last year. But it doesn’t matter, outcome is still the same. Well, it was good support to wait together, and good luck to everyone at your new schools in the fall. UCLA or not, it’s a GREAT new adventure so make the most of it!

I checked the decision site and it says Not all decisions have been made for students on the waitlist.
Decisions will be made on a rolling basis throughout the month of May and will be posted here on our decision site.

My chance is really low at this point but I still have hope

WOW. Hurts a little bit, but yes same I just checked and was not accepted. I guess everything happens for a reason! Congrats to those who got in, and for those who didn’t, I am sure you will all have a blast where ever you go

I am just wondering what happens if the people who just got off the wait list, decide to decline?

I think many people will decline the offer because honestly, it’s a bit too late. They would have probably paid for housing and all at their previous university already. But either way, good luck to everyone where ever you go and I wish you all success.
