Official thread october sat 2013 test

how many no errors in writing?

for the music passage, did you put his tone as “somewhat derisive” or “scholarly neutral”? I went with the latter

the essay was easy

@SgtGutter
I got 4 no error

ya and the question of the banana i thought tht the mistake was with ( of which ) c wbu u guys ?

@samsingh I think I put somewhat derisive

IMPORTANTT Q’s?

Cone/Cylinder Volume
Girls reaction before and after poem was read?
Authors stand on music?

And was the math unusually difficult with the last 2 or so questions on the sections, do you guys a substantial curve on math

i said it was derisive, but i forgot why. why’d you say neutral?

i had scholarly neutral but i switched to somewhat derisive because of the leeway the word “somewhat” gives, cause he called them supporters of the “party of doom” or something…

Sam I put openly something…

@ahmed97 yeah compared to my BB tests, the CR was definitely harder and the math was just a tad bit more difficult.

Math: I’d say 4 wrong is 700+, 5 wrong maybe 690.
CR: I’d say 8 wrong is a flat 700.

@samsingh
was scholarly neutral? I felt like he didn’t say his opinion until the last paragraph

@samsungh I went with somewhat derisive but I think that’s wrong. Can we talk about that bee passage?

umm i got sqrt(6) for the volume question, but i didnt have time to check.

I went with studious neutrality because the whole point of that paragraph was showing two conflicting sides without hating on either one of them.

dem bees. teehee

can any one remember the sentence of the bananas ??

in ER identification ?? i thought tht the mistake was with ( of which ) )

Sqrt 6 was right as well

What did you guys put for the second to last question on one of the math sections? It was about counterexample, like adding one to a number

it was 2sqrt(6) for the volume question
