Official thread october sat 2013 test

@mswk
I don’t wanna be a cliche but that’s why they say “the first one you think is correct”

@HarvardDreamss

WOW gonna take a while to go through that list

Who is most like the unconverted? ->

for this question, I put author of passage 1 … ughh
r u sure that its the culturally literate?

K I remember it nowww…It is definitely ‘supported’

Harvarddreams i love you!! <3 <3 <3 same here! Except one (and i believe i was wrong at that)

Yeah author 1 acyually listens to classical music so he is influenced by those who market their music as artsy…

khsini I also chose author of passage 1!

@HarvardDreamss
Haha winning! Got’em all except for supported. I think it was “held up”, as in keep. Support is rather sustain, welfare, pay money whatever imo. Tough one.

I think I bombed Sentence completions + classic music passage
already got 3 wrong from that list haahhahahahaha
thank god I already registered november one

is it official answers or harvarddreamss’ answers?
@harvarddreamss do you have a eidetic memory?

What was the disoriented one…?

haha was disoriented an answer? Because if it was I chose it as an answer haha

I also chose disoriented <3
it was one with astronaut passage…

I don’t remember what that question was about. Can’t even remember if there was disoriented in the answer. Probably because I didn’t put it as an answer haha…
Wow… I screwed this one up…wow

oh yeah yeah ahaha the question was how did anders feel initially? it is pretty clear that it was disoriented

@HarvardDreams

can u explain this one

"- Quote in Passage 2 -> shows a specific opinion about the topic"
I don’t remember the quote.

I think these are correct:

 • Question with diner mood: Diners mood

-quotation marks -> legitimacy of terms

@mswk9201
When the astronaut first saw the moon, he felt disoriented because the maps he had were confusing/not accurate or sth like this.

what were the other answer choices? do you remember?

@slipshod what is that diner’s mood thing?

quotation marks -> either “antiquated usage” or “legitimacy of terms”, no consensus**

For this one, I put “antiquated usage” but wasn’t sure…
