Apparently they have put a “remember me” button on the log in screen. Pick guess…thank you for reinstating something that was part of the OLD format.

I have no read all 22 pages of this thread. Nevertheless, I have a question. Apologies if it has been addressed.
When the new site was first rolled out, we could edit for up to one hour; now it seems that time has been reduced to only 15 minutes. Is this correct?? Why?

So the one thing no one complained about at all has been changed, yet the things we have complained about ad infinitum, nothing.
^^ And while they fixed the one thing about the edit function that no one was complaining about (edit time), they managed to ignore the two things there have been a lot of complaints about (the stupid red edit notice, and the fact that we can’t delete posts).
test edit – yep, there it is, the stupid red line.
Just saying. Know what I really miss? The yellow dot (right on the post page) that indicated if someone was on CC at that moment. I knew if I was responding to someone who might read it sooner vs later.

When I send (or receive) a PM, it says it was sent to the person “and one other”. None of us are sending to “one other” Whtat s up with that?
Convo between X and one other- you are the other. I thought that, for a while it said, say, between “jym626 and you.”

Friends, it is driving me nuts that I post something, then hit refresh to see if anyone posted in the interim. And no, no one did. Until I come back later and see that several did. So my answer to someone doesn’t follow his post, and looks like it responds to something else.
Well…lookingforward…if there were POST numbers you could refer to the intended post in your reply!

I agree with post numbers, it would keep you from having to quote the whole post. But what irritates me is what happens every time I try to open an internal link through a thread linked to a post. This time it happened just when I wanted to open a thread, with firefox:
