Logged out on my PC.
Today is a log out day! I’m getting logged out on my iPad, using safari and the regular CC URL. In addition, when I’m logged out, I get that listing of topics like on the mobile application on my iPhone. I am NOT using the mobile application on my iPad.

I’m also getting security warnings on my phone- not on my computer though
Any chance we are going to get an update on the issues folks have been so discussing?
I would rather hear “we are done. This is the site we want”, than being told there are updates to be given and fixes to be had…if there are not going to be.
But I really would like to see post numbers!

II suspect that what we see is what we get, at this point. Even fixes that were done (the log-out issue) now no longer work.

Yes, clearly they don’t intend to do anything else to the site. What’s disappointing and more than a little surprising is that the top people at CC repeatedly told us otherwise.

What a load of crap.
A couple of weeks ago when I declined to moderate any more, at most 2 of the 20+ ‘must have’ post-revision changes that the Moderator team listed for the Tech team to work on had been addressed. This doesn’t even include the 20 or so ‘nice to’ changes we also gave them. And, almost all of the changes we asked for were to restore the things that worked well BEFORE the migration.
My guess is that the likelihood this site ever getting back to it’s original functionality is about nil since CC Admin has their own agenda and don’t believe or care that Mods and members understand what makes this community valuable.
Once again on my iPad when I click on CC in Safari I am getting the app version! This problem was supposedly addressed and fixed months ago. Then when I was able to finally get on through safari I was logged out - even though I never log myself out. Another glitch which was supposedly also fixed.
I scanned back through this thread, and the last time a tech person responded was April 17, exactly a month ago. That was moody208. He also posted on the official update thread that day, and then 3 more posts on the 18th and 21st. Silence after that. So he’s not only gone from this thread, he’s gone from the community, and apparently no one is taking his place. Looks to me like there will be no more tech support, and certainly none of the changes we’ve been promised over and over.
On the contrary, lasma, moody signs on every single day. He has certainly not left. It’s just us that no one other than ML gives a flying monkey about.
Wonder what’s he’s doing then? He’s not posting. Just reading our fascinating thoughts, no doubt.
I would love to have an update from someone…Roger, dbraud, moody? All seem to be MIA. And I don’t think it’s because they are trying to resolve our questions.

For some odd reason, it says 8 next to my threads, but I only have 2 posted and that’s all I’ve ever made.

My “thread” thing says 1005. It jumped from 1001 to 1005 yesterday. I didn’t not start any new threads…none. I would live to know what that “threads” count actually means. It’s not threads I’ve posted on either…because I’ve posted on a number today…and no change in number has happened.
I’ve been away all weekend. entomom, I will look at the list and let you know. I don’t think anything has changed since you quit moderating. I had to ask for someone to agree to moderate all weekend since I was gone! vonlost took over for me.
