My official transcripts were requested from Cal Poly Pomona and I was wondering if anyone else has received this request? Is it simply normal for them to be requested from everyone at this time?
they requested my transcripts too!!! but I don’t know if it is a good sign or just normal… maybe they are just verifying GPA before starting the process of considering students… BTW did you already sent them the transcripts, do they accept e-transcripts??
Mine says “Needs Documents” but there is nothing in my to do list. I sent an email asking what they needs but it is probably also transcripts.
I’ve been checking the threads for Fall 2015 admissions and they said all transfers were asked for their transcripts, so I guess it’s just normal…
I sent in my transcripts the same day I saw the notification…I am not sure if they accept e-transcripts, you should call the admissions office to inquire about that.
When you sign in to the portal, make sure you click on “Applicant Self Services”, then under “Admissions” click on “View my application status” and it should say in detail which documents they need…my to do list took about 3 days before it showed the document even though it stated it since day 1 on my application status.
my transcripts have not been requested yet but it says “ready for decision” on my application status
i forgot to mention that in those fall 2015 threads they stated they were requested of all transfer students applying to an impacted major…i’m not sure if it was true, but that’s what i read
@crazzy4 on their site http://www.cpp.edu/~admissions/undergraduate/transfer/after/next-steps.shtml it states, “Cal Poly Pomona accepts Electronic Transcripts through eTranscript California, SPEEDE, & Parchment”
thanks @mhern04
Where would one mail transcripts? Unfortunately my school doesn’t do electronic copies. Mine still just says needs documents but doesn’t clarify it. I emailed but haven’t heard back and the few times I called I had to hang up while I was on hold. While waiting on the phone though they play an automated message saying transfers need to send transcripts by 1/31 so I’m assuming that’s what they need from me, but they don’t mention how to send it.
@jay956 you usually can send them through your current school’s portal or by going to your school’s admissions/records office…i did mine with an actual hard copy, not through an electronic copy and i just requested them online through my school’s portal
@mhern04 I guess I was unclear. What is the address that you mail the transcripts to? I don’t see it on CPP website.
Has anyone also gotten a request for the AP exam results to be turned in as well?
@jay956 you send it to the school’s address which comes up by simply googling the school and you clarify on the envelope that it is intended for the Office of admission and outreach
@jay956
To: OFFICE OF ADMISSION & OUTREACH
CAL POLY POMONA

POMONA, CA 91768-2557
@for79456 i haven’t, but i’m a transfer so that’s not required
@mhern04 Really? I’m a transfer as well and it’s asking me for my AP exams scores by the 31st of the this month.
@for79456 from high school?
@mhern04 No from Community college. Others didn’t get such a request which is why I was wondering why and if it really is necessary since at this point it won’t get there in time for the deadline.
Thanks @mhern04
AP courses from community college? aren’t they meant as college level courses for high school? you should contact admissions because i think they will have the clearest/best answer for your situation
