Official Transcripts ? totally lost... help me!

I feel totally lost.... I knew I should have checked the requirements carefully at least a week ago..! Because now I am trying to meet the Dec. 1st deadline and I only have my SAT score submitted..

So, my question is,

In BC system, the official transcripts only lists courses in grade 10 to 12. But the problem is, I moved to different high school in my junior year, so in my school they don't have my "official" transcript from grade 9. Should I call my former high school and tell them to send my grade 9 transcript? Or can my counsellor just attach my grade 9 final report card to the official transcript?

I also changed my legal name in grade 11, so if (ever) my former school sends a transcript I am pretty sure it will have different legal name...(and sadly, due to their stupid mistakes, different birth country too!)
I just feel hopeless. Any suggestions?? I just hope that they will consider it "official" if my counsellor sends my grade 9 report cards with a comment on that.

In the common app course listings, do you list courses according to the YEAR that you took it, or the grade level of the course? For example, I took Spanish 9 in my grade 10 year. Should I list the course in grade 9 section or grade 10 section?

Where does my counsellor send the official transcripts to? (I know it's a very basic question but I can't seem to find an address on their website. Is it through online?)

Thanks!

Call the admissions office and ask them most of these questions, they will have the answers to most of them, if you haven’t already done that. They’ll help you out! :)

What do you mean your current school doesn’t have copies? Didn’t they get them from the school when you transferred? My student transferred into a different high school at 10th grade and stayed until graduation. That school sent their grades 10-12 as well as what they had on file for 9th grade.

I agree with ARandomGeek. Call USC and ask. They take a lot of homeschooled kids so they are used to unusual situations and will have a better solution than any of us can give you.

Good luck!
