johnM, I know that for ILR specifically you can call in on April 21st after 3pm and they will inform you of your decision.

leobag,

Yup... I am non-traditional. Really nontraditional. :) I dropped out of highschool when I was 16! I'm 27 now. I've been going to a community college since fall 2004. You can see my stats on the first page of this thread, if you want.

Are you a nontraditional applicant yourself? I'd also be interested in knowing if there are any other nontraditional apps out there. Anyone else?

jason2811,

That's cool that ILR gives you a hard date. I just found this on the engineering website:

Early July? Yikes! I knew I remembered reading that somewhere. Arghgh.

however, the transfer application deadline was pushed back to april 15th so i dunno now

bump....any ILR transfers call yet?

nevermind....just called...the decisions have been pushed back until Monday...so we can call anytime Monday for the decision.

So everyone from IRL hears on monday or just your GTs?

everyone from ILR hears on Monday--if you give them a call...

Yeah a couple of more days of worrying heh. I have an exam on monday how am I going to concentrate?

How come you are not a GT anymore?

i got a C in a non-ILR required course...so my GPA is a 3.23 instead of the required 3.30 so I am considered a regular transfer instead of being a guaranteed one.

What school do you go to? Really so they told you , you are not a GT but a regular transfer?

yeah they told me that "GTs who do not meet the requirements are then considered against the regular transfer applicant pool"..they didn't exactly say "you are not a GT anymore"...it was just pretty much implied..i am at a west coast jesuit university..i dont wanna go too specific...where do you go?

I go to Rutgers. Im a non-gt transfer. Thing that sucks is that I got a C first semester in my writing class. Rutgers has graduate students teaching writing classes which are the hardest classes. My writing teacher was an Art History Major. Problem is that you don't learn how to become a better writer but someone that follows a certain way of writing. I have had so much success in writing. 750 SAT II , A's in High School English. If you read my papers you'll be surprised I got a C. I mean I got a 3.5 first semester with 24 (17 at Rutgers + 7 AP) credits and will have a 3.875 this semester. But I feel that my GPA is low. I don't know I mean I took the hardest classes so we'll see how it turns out.
