Hi, has anyone received any decisions from admissions? If so, post your stats and decision!

Hi mojo- i was accepted from cmu for the fall.

please clear up some PM space!

ok, its cleared, feel free to PM me!

I GOT IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
whoooooooo!

lol congrats! i got in too, feel free to PM me, i am having problems with the transfering of credits

A lot of my friends that are transfers had problems too. I think it's because we're on a 4 credit hours-per-class system. And because they want your money.

LOL!! thats so true!! they basically want us to take more units! do you guys normally take 32 units per year?

yea. four x four hour classes is a normal semester. Most classes really only meet for 2.5 hours a week, though. It's not as much time in class as it seems. The registar is strict on outside credits. If you don't get credit for something, you can petition the department (if we have it) that the class would be listed under and sometimes they'll give you credit.

is it true that ap spanish cant be given credit for those who are fluent, wth!?!?

that i dont know. i thought that you just received a 4 hours with a 4 or a 5 on the test. email the registar or the span/portugese director of UG education or dept chair. One of them would know for sure.
