OFFICIAL Tufts University Class of 2014 RD Applicants

Good luck with that decision. It’s nice to have a couple of really appealing options like that. But Tufts and Chicago are such different schools; I suspect you’ll soon lean strongly one way or the other. And as for possibly playing football in college, does Chicago even have a team? I know that long, long ago (and I mean REALLY long ago) they were in the Big 10 conference but they couldn’t handle it and dropped out.

I’M IN!! YAY! I <3 Tufts, so so so so much. You can see my stats by looking at my previous posts if you want to.

@WCASParent

 1. I’m actually rather torn between Chicago and Tufts at the moment. I’m gonna visit each again, but right now, both have things I really, really like.
 2. Chicago is Div. III in the UAA with schools like WashU, CMU, and others. They do have a football team and it wasn’t half bad this year.

DS Was… Accepted!

I’m not sure that he will attend even though he likes the school very much. He did a video supplement play a short original piece on a guitar that we built. He also did the 50 word essay. Had a fantastic interview with a neighbor lady from around the corner. Who knew? His PUBLIC school sends many students to IVY/Tier 1 schools. Many other schools too!

accepted: Georgetown, Rutgers (presidential $$)

waitlisted; Swarthmore, Wesleyan

Deferred: Yale (SCEA)

find out tomorrow! Princeton, Yale, Brown

Good luck to all :)

College decisions are so fickle and confusing. Rejected. ahhh well, i guess every school looks for something different. Got into WashU and Wesleyan though.

Rejected. I thought my essays and optional essay were good, but my sats were mediocre so I’m not surprised. Congrats to those accepted

Congrats to those accepted. DD was not accepted, but she still has great choices with WUSTL, PSU Shreyers and a few others. I hope others who were not accepted also have other choices where they will find their way and succeed. Best to all.

Daughter Wait listed :frowning:
stats on profile
She got into WashU, Vandy, Bowdoin and UNC-Chapel Hill. :slight_smile:
Congratulations to all who got in! Keep your heads up rejects and wait listed, the best is yet to come!

Waitlisted, I thought I would get denied so good haha. Doesn’t really matter too much though going to CMU anyway, Tufts was my second choice so would have liked to get in just for an ego boost.

Waitlisted, and without patience to hang around. I was not “in love” with Tufts, anyway. Now it’s between UChicago and BC, unless miracles happen tomorrow.

When will Tufts mail out acceptance/rejection/waitlist letters? I’m having a really good day and don’t want to have it potentially ruined.

Hah, denied. Think I’m going to University of Rochester though…

Accepted! I’m beyond ecstatic. Congrats to all who got in!

Waitlieted hahahahah what? I got into UCLA, Berkeley and USC though so tis all good!
not accepting my spot on the waitlist

REJECTED!! eh, i was expecting it. My first rejection thus far

Accepted. I’m all over CC; anyone who wants my stats will find them.

srrinath. did you hear back from georgetown?

@IBfootballer - We’ve met, right? “Debate Captain, football player, amateur policy analyst” sounds an awful lot like a pretty cool guy I’ve met a few times over the last year.

When you visit, track me down. I’m eager to see you again. You’ve got a really difficult choice to make, but it’s the best kind of difficult, no?

Accepted- thank goodness! My brother graduated from Tufts in 09 as well. Excited!

Waitlisted =/
