I think the Tufts admissions office is most concerned with the voice of the applicant. I was very confident in my writing, and very confident that my personality would get across to them.
Where else were you accepted/waitlisted/rejected: I applied to Tulane EA and was accepted with a $20,000 annual merit scholarship.

GENERAL COMMENTS:
When it comes down to it, the applicants who are seriously considered all have around the same grades and test scores. It’s the applicant’s voice that is the distinguishing factor. This is mainly why I didn’t repeatedly take the ACTs and stress over them, even though my ACT score was a bit below average.

Interview: I thought it went well. It was a simple, rather informal conversation, which was nice because I didn’t feel any pressure to seem completely perfect and composed. We joked and laughed the whole time!

Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected: Although my GPA is a bit under the Tufts average, I think I showed my love for Tufts and provided a genuine and accurate picture of myself in my application.

(I visited once in the summer and met nice people, I’m more of a research-online person, but I did talk about the school a lot at the interview)
