@ktinaisabel I received an email yesterday saying they were in the process of reviewing my application (my adviser left a section blank and had to fill it out) so I think it most be soon, right? haha I’m just trying to be hopeful after reading last years thread.
According to last year’s transfer thread people were under the assumption that decisions would start on a rolling basis on May 15th, but after skimming through posts it seemed as though most people did not end up hearing back until mid-late May, and even into June
Best of luck to all. I’ve been accepted to AU, now waiting on GWU, GU, Tufts, and UChicago. I’m a USN Sailor w/ a 3.89 and 55 credits taken via correspondence. Anxious like the rest of you.
Also applied for transfer, but my stats aren’t looking so great next to OP’s. Then again, Tufts is definitely one of the reaches I applied to. We’ll see how it goes I guess lol
@k11k11 Their acceptance rates pretty much switch. Cornell is 10% for freshmen, 15% for transfers, and Tufts is 15% for freshmen, 10% for transfers. I think that’s because Tufts lets in so few transfers. But acceptance rates aren’t the whole story, so who knows what will happen?
No way im at the U too and also applying as a transfer to Tufts! I’m a mathematics major with a 4.0 and a 34 ACT. In high school I didnt perform that great finishing with a 96 GPA so we shall see. Hoping we both get in!
@k11k11 Depends on which college at Cornell. CALS is notorious for taking a lot of transfers but the other colleges have lower transfer acceptance rates.
