They probably always “close” on decision day as they don’t want to get flooded with 17k anxious phone calls.

TAP - - - I am not sure but I think it is primarily for first generation and low income students. They screen you and let you know if you are eligible for TAP.
If anyone looks under the definition of “Cruel and Unusual Punishment,” waiting for college admissions would be under it
Even if I get accepted to Cal I think I’d rather go to UCLA.

@melimoo @akhockeyfield I’m reading all the boards on my lunch break since my boss went out. Uber stomachache and PMS-ing like crazy (sorry not sorry.) Also couldn’t sleep last night. This is weird because I’m not one to overobsess about college at all, like I just wanted to get into one & I did and I want to know where I’ll finally be going. I think all the insanity of these CC boards & users transferred over to me, haha!

Does anyone know just how much it hurts to have a pre-req/IGETC in progress in the Spring? I’ve heard having prereqs in progress basically sends you application in the reject pile automatically, while IGETCs don’t matter much…
Do you guys know if the application portal site will be closed for a little while before they release the decisions. Both UCSB’s and UCLA’s were closed for like an hour leading up to decisions… and from what I gather from last year’s thread UCB’s was as well. But who knows!
Seriously, why 4+ pm? Is there a special reason? 
One reason could be that they close at 4 pm

@ODESZA yeah same here lol. I don’t know why I’m reading the thread and getting hyped over this when I’ll just pick UCLA anyway if it comes down to it

@ODESZA @UniversalSnip I’m feeling UCLA too, haha! It definitely helps. My goal was always Cal, and I thought it was my dream school, but UCLA has become my #1. No matter what happens I hope to see you guys there!!
