Official UC Berkeley Spring Admits 2015

Because I couldn't find a thread for us spring admits, I decided to make one myself :D

It's really exciting to be admitted to UCBerkeley, however being admitted for Spring is a bit daunting as it feels like one is entering the college when everyone else is settled down. Therefore, the subjects of fitting in and making friends are ones that may be feared!
So how about we get to talk a bit right here and calm each other's nerves, share ideas, and perhaps even make some acquaintances!
Start off with your major, your plans for Fall, and any concerns and we'll go from there :)

I'll go first:
I'm planning on doing an English major.
For Fall, I shall probably be travelling and perhaps even taking classes and lessons in other little things such as driving, guitar, etc...
My primary fears as a Spring admit are just finding friends (particularly since I'm an 'out of towner' ;) ), and also finding my way around- I have this anxiety that perhaps because I'm a Spring admit, I will not be as well taught in Orientation about travelling, living, etc...as Fall admits are.

If anyone on here is looking for housing for Spring, let me know! I am living in a lovely home on Hillegass with some really amazing, clean, nice people and the rent is reasonable. We are looking for subletters for the spring of 2015, as many of us will be going abroad. Message me if interested! madison.chapman@berkeley.edu

Hey there.
Spring 2015 Berkeley admit transferring from community college in santa cruz
English major also.
Just wondering why there are only fall classes offered for freshman through FPF, and nothing available for transfers… seems unfair that freshman can get started on Berkeley credits while transfers have to just wait around… anyone have any insight?
