@kkus2013 I also TAG’d for computer science. 3.75 overall gpa. No update yet, been checking the portal every hour.
There’s a lot of computer science majors here lol kinda scary that I am one as well.
Has anyone who taged for Software Engineering or anything in the Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences found out anything from their tag yet???

I am wondering that they submit their applications at the early Nov 2016? I submitted my application on the last day. I cannot figure out what is the criteria that someone got admit early and someone is late

Congrats to those who got in today, sounds like TAG and H2H are rolling out, hang in there! It’s finals week at UCI next week, this is the end of my 2nd quarter and I feel like I’m comfortable with it now. One thing I found helpful was being careful about who I take and what classes i pair up each quarter. UCI lists a tentative schedule for some majors on the majors homepage so you can get an idea of who will be teaching what. It’s really not bad once you get in and get going, at least that has been my experience. Community college prepared me well, and others too I’d say. They key for me has been organizing time. I had a very hard time keeping track of what was due when, or would lose half the day doing stuff and get overwhelmed in the past. It’s boring, but planning out each day and getting about a month ahead planning assignments on a calendar has really helped. I just remember being excited and scared when I was admitted. You guys can do this, may the zot be with you.

I got accepted into UCI when I thought I wasn’t !
I was told by admissions and the counseling center that I was missing a course for the 2nd requirement for computer science. Yes I did tag with a 3.5 gpa. Lol So does that mean that I did meet the requirements ? Or is admissions letting it slide ? I have no idea what’s going on lol.
