@sodapop111 i would imagine they would tell everyone at the same time (on a rolling basis) regardless if we are rejected or accepted, maybe? That is my guess.

I have heard a lot of different rumors about admission notifications since February! My friend who lives in SoCal got accepted into UCI mid-March (Mechanical Engineering major). While me and my best friend who live in the Bay Area just found out today. (I am business econ, and my best friend is public health major).
Do not start thinking you are not getting in just because you didn’t get in today/tonight. Stay positive because we do not know exactly how they are doing these notifications, following trends is stressing people out. But I can’t blame y’all, this is such a nerve wracking process.
I am just saying all of this because I have been reading a bunch of people getting into UCSC for my major and in the Bay Area, but I have yet to find out if I got in or not. So, we just do not know.

@cato8794 Ive been accepted to UCM but Im still pending on UCI, UCB, and UCD. UCD and UCI are my first choices. Berkeley is definitely a strectch!

I’m from the Bay too and it’s so nerve-wracking seeing such a big batch come out and not seeing the notification :-/ especially since UCI’s trend is releasing batches of acceptances and start to go to waitlist and rejected as time goes on but CONGRATS! I hope you get into the rest of the UCs you are hoping for

Essay: 3/10. Okay, I may be exaggerating because I wrote my essay on the day I did the UC application. Submitted it a week early so I could focus on my classes/finals. Reread my essay a couple month after and realized there were many grammatical errors in my essays and my ideas were everywhere and chaotic.

Comments: Lol… I thought I would get waitlisted. I heard uci business administration is extremely competitive like ucla bus econ both with a 10-13% admit rate. Highly unlikely will be attending the UC schools because they were my backups. First choice is USC and I spent 2 months writing my essay for it while I spent about 30 minutes for UC essays lmaoooooo. Will be declining my admission once I hear back from USC so those on the waitlist still have a chance! Don’t give up! GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!
@thatguyO @MichaelJarvis I took Calc 1, Calc 2, Econ 1, Econ 2, Anthro 2, Anthro 3, Accounting 1 and Accounting 2(IP). Sorry for the list, I can’t remember off the top of my head which ones were required and which ones were suggested. My provisional acceptance says I need to keep an overall 2.8 with a min of 2.0 this semester.
Also FYI I don’t know if this is encouragement for any other busecon/econ hopefuls but I got straight Bs in all but 1 of my major preps and took calc 1 twice, so my major GPA was basically 3.2 or something.

@keeairooni021 last year they sent out acceptance/rejects in batches. It took FOREVER for people to find out. People found out every week/every other week all the way until like end of may. They send out waitlists at the end. Don’t worry if you haven’t heard back yet.
