@Zygole waitlisted and wondering the same thing
Waitlisted means you’re still a competitive candidate, just that there were others who completed more courses or that they had a higher gpa. If you get flat out rejected, it means you didn’t complete enough prerequisites or maybe a low gpa (many factors come in, not just only the 2 I listed because people with lower gpa have been accepted)
If you really want to go to UCI, just wait, they’ll get back to you

What does it mean by “you have been admitted with transfer conditions”
It is a provisional contract by you and the UC stating that your admission is not official until you have completed its requirements. There should be a link below outlining the requirements.
@timtom619 Navy here too 2010-15. HM3(FMF) over at Camp Pendleton\s 2/11. If anything, I’ll be there with my fiancee for the Veteran Family Welcome presentation.
@DocAzure That’s awesome man. 2009-2015 FC2. I was stationed in JEB Little Creek, VA for a while. I didn’t know they had a Veteran Family Welcome presentation. Is it just for families or can all student veterans attend?

I’m assuming all student veterans can attend. Even if its not open to non-admits, well hell, would that stop any veteran from attending anyways?

@DocAzure awesome thank you for the info! I guess I’ll be a leaving a little earlier then scheduled if check-in is at 8:30am. Well I guess I’ll see you there. What was your major again? I wonder if I should bring my DD-214 so that I can register myself as a veteran at the registrar office so I can get started on the graduate housing.
@17ucccccc Yes I believe so, just with a few different requirements based on the persons major.
I’m visiting the campus now!!! It’s awesome!!! Don’t care other campus now. Pretty sure gonna reject other offers. I love the city and campus!! Like a park!!! UCI is awesome! :)) :))

he’s an out of state transfer with a 3.2 gpa. philosophy major. since this appears to be the first batch of waitlist decisions, does that mean theyre at the top of the list?
