@FaithGraceUC No however I’ve already been accepted to a different UC, UC Davis, and they’re admittance page shows my accepted coursework and overall GPA. So if you’ve been accepted to any other UC’s you might be able to find out through that.
Does anyone know when the next batch will come out? I got into UC santa Cruz, Davis and UCR with a 3.3 gpa with econ
@marcyzamora Congrats! I’m a business admin major applying to UCI from DVC too! Best of luck to you!
Does anyone know if the UCI Regents Scholarship include additional money on top of the monetary award (2500) based on financial need?
Are there any out of state transfers waiting to hear back?
@UCIAnteaters Any word from the grapevine of there’s another/final batch of acceptances this week?
^^
Anyone know how transfer rates for people originally instate but are transferring in from an out of state university? I’m computer science at Purdue University GPA:3.84 transferring in as a Junior.
Is anyone planning to live on campus next year?
@truesciencelover me, if I choose this school. Irvine is super pricey. When I was looking into apartments last year I was going to live in UTC and it was like, 400 per person plus utilities… Irvine is a pretty expensive city, especially the closer you are to the school or Newport. I think living off campus is only cheap in Tustin.
Anyone wondering, yes there’s still admissions decisions to be sent out. There’s over 80 majors offered at UCI. Only a handful of people are posting here of the thousands of students worldwide that applied. Please relax. You’ll have a decision by the 30th, so you’re going to find out within the next 6 days who accepted you and who rejected you.
And FYI, schools do send rejections. Don’t think that a lack of update means you’re not in. You will be made aware of your rejection, if you were indeed rejected.
Anyways, we’re at the end of the semester, don’t forget to keep up your studies, do well on your finals, and get good grades. Before you know it you’ll be filling out your housing and healthcare information and working on sending transcripts.
@gabyitzelq1 are you from Socal?
@futurelawyer88 yes, from Tijuana across the border but I moved to San Diego for school.
Hey, you guys! I made a UCI Transfer 2017 group on Facebook if anyone would like to join there’s nothing really on there at the moment, but I felt like it would be easier to communicate. And if anyone was planning on going to the Celebrate UCI Transfer Day we could meet up if anyone was going alone
@macyphan when is UCI transfer day?
@sodapop111 It’s on Friday, May 5th
