- I would rather go to UC Santa Barbara … I’m still super bummed that I wont be attending ): It was literally the hardest decision I’ve made so far.
- But I chose UC Irvine because both of its Psych programs (Cognitive Science and Psychology & Social Behavior) are too good of an opportunity to pass up.</p>

- UCLA is closer to home, plus the school is one of the most prestigious in the world. Also, they have a good department for my major with lots of and research opportunities.</p>

I’ve wanted this school since the first time I visited. It’s BERKELEY. It’s a top-notch, prestigious university. It has made my family very, very proud. I LOVE the city and its liberal vibe. It’s close to home. I worked hard. I want my chosen school to reflect that.</p>

What made you choose the UC that you SIRed to?
I fell in love with the school when I visited. They have a good psychology department and a lot of research opportunities. Plus, most of the classes have a fairly small class size so I think I will be able to get more personal attention.</p>

<p>I didnt expect to get in Berkeley at all so it threw me off! …If I were to get in USC with a good aid package …this will be a very difficult choice!</p>
