Official Ucb Acceptance Thread

for everyone who applied to berkeley: post your status (admitted/rejected), your gpa, and any extracurriculars...

The other threads got too big and I think starting a new one would be more organized since the others have hundreds of pages.

This thread is for UC BERKELEY admits/rejects ONLY.

Good luck to everyone! hope you guys make the effort and help future transfer students by posting your stats and giving us an idea of the admissions process.

why do you guys make these topics so early. get off the computer, get out of the house, and go drinking or something and you'll lose the anxiety that makes you make these topics 2342134 times before decisions are even released.

Um, us applicants are big grown-ups; we can make our own threads. Kthx.

EDIT: @ilovecalifornia, not apprehensive

Still, I love Iam's thinking. Drinking is the answer to quite a few of life's problems.

dude, drinking makes any honey look hotter

I think I'm gonna drink to that one.

Eschatos, it's post 69 for you--hehe

grown ups? right....and when your 92, i'll be 90...have fun creating the illusion that your superior...

if you don't have Stats, get out (go ahead, argue if your a loser, but I prefer people who waste posts making inane statements to stay out of this thread)

this thread is for people who are serious about supporting their peers, so why dont you sign off and go grab a beer you pathetic alcoholic.

and to IAMAPPREHENSIVE...LOOK AT YOUR USERNAME......enough said

i don't have any anxiety....i don't have anything to lose and i'm not stressed. the other topic was getting to big and confusing. stop overanalyzing things..your the sucker whos 'apprehensive' lol stupid hypocrite = /

This thread is crashing and burning faster than a John Denver plane.

I've never drank alcohol in my life. Not even a drop.

I'm apprehensive, but I don't make a topic that's been posted 342314 times before when the responses will not answer the question cause no one has been accepted yet.

I didn't mean to criticize you, when I see topics like these they scare me more but I can't help myself and always click on them. Like that UCLA one with a transfer already getting in, that's really scaring the **** out of me.

Pathetic alcoholic? I never said anything about drinking.

My referring to us as "grown-ups" meant that we, as applicants, are perfectly capable of handling the situation. I only said this because I've noticed that you have a tendency to get involved in things that really don't concern you. You're waaay to concerned about things for someone who hasn't even applied yet, and, frankly, I find it annoying.

AND PLEASE: YOUR and YOU'RE.

no YOUR just another one of those ANNOYING CC members who think they're 10x smarter than they really are. I don't need you correcting me

...and the thread i start doesn't concern you at all. if you find it annoying, please, feel free to stop posting here and stop responding. If you 'grown-ups' are so capable, then PLEASE do the honor of starting a new/organized/smaller thread specific to this topic. Just because I choose to take on that task, doesn't make me anxious/stressed. its called planning ahead.

if you didn't even apply to berkeley, you seriously need to leave...

and if you did, once you get your rejection letter from berkeley, feel free to post on my thread with your stats/gpa...until then, go away.

^^^^ directed at muir,

not IAMAPPREHENSIVE (thanks for explanation)

The thread you started does concern me; I'm a UC applicant, who, for the record, doesn't think he's 10 times smarter than everyone else.

I corrected your grammar because it's such a simple and annoying mistake; seriously, people will take you more seriously if you get that right.

Also, you'll be taken more seriously when you don't lie about grades and where you go to school.

ok. i've NEVER lied about any of that....if you think i have, its because you can't read english. if i did, it was a prediction of the future..when have I ever carried on a lie about attending a school and getting certain grades? If somebody asked me if my facts were true, i'd say no, but it may have come off as a lie bc it was a blind experiment.

YOU'RE seriously wasting my time. Thanks for killing this thread. Hopefully one of the 'grown-ups' will start a new thread from scratch when the decisions come out....

GENERAL STATEMENT:

IM SO CLOSE TO DELETING MY CC ACCOUNT IT ISN'T EVEN FUNNY

sometimes I wonder if the advice/help i get on this website, really outweighs the number of snotty/supercilious people I have to deal with to get my answers. Theres so many helpful/supportive students but so many more arrogant nerds who start **** just to feel superior. (like i said, general statement)

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?p=1759842#post1759842

I can read English just fine. You don't have to lie about things like that.

like i said, blind experiment...i didn't lie for fun. I lied bc it would be quicker and easier than explaining my situation. those were all predictions of my performance in CC...if i were to say that im a hs senior from the start, then people would go off topic and start rambling about how 'you never know how you'll do in CC' 'why didn't you apply as a high school student?'
'how do you know you'll get a 4.0 in CC?'
etc
etc
etc
etc

Mod, pls lock. I don't trust myself.
