I had a midterm today as well. Since I have a couple of presentations/essays, I’m trying to finish them early. Passes the time + means that I finish things up before deadline.

Now I wish I could follow through. But if by ‘follow through’ I mean downloading shows and watching episodes back to back…

ugghh everyday just feels like it’s going slower & slower

^ SRSLY. especially because there aren’t any superultraeffectiven00b hacks for Cal’s site like there are for UCLA’s

@BLAHBLAH111 Social Welfare is one of the most impacted majors at the school actually. Your likely to get into their grad school if you get good grades and a good GRE score.

Hey guys, I have a question. Is the 5 pm EST or LA local time?

bay area time**
norcal > socal.

@annadeena do you know how low acceptance rates are for transfers into the social welfare major?
like when you say impacted do you mean its SUPER hard to get into like Berkeley’s HAAS business school status that accepts like 6% of applicants? :(

It’s funny how quiet this site is, but it will be buzzing next Friday. I think a lot of people applied to both UCLA and Cal. I know that the UCLA decision will highly affect me as I wait to hear from Berkeley. In some ways I hope I get into one and not the other so I the choice is made for me. Worse case scenario I get into none and spend a year teaching English in Europe until it starts all over again.

@back: probably because Cal does not have many tricks to talk about like UCLA did. I’m probably the only one that willing to spend thousands of dollars to enroll in their summer session before the decision come out. I saw something, but I have no one to discuss with. lol
Anyway, =) I hope you get in tomorrow, best luck to you.

@moon
Did you mean you saw something about Cal?!!!

not much. I saw my 2012-2013 financial aid webpage got set up last week, and they are requiring a document from me. But I doubt that’s any good indication

moon9 how do you check the financial aid webpage?

@moon…best of luck to you too! I’m not going to even ask about what you saw from Cal…I don’t want to torture myself any more then I already am:)

@Philosoup: you have to register for summer session. Once they confirm and give you a CalNet ID, you will be able to log in MyFinAid.

@back: haha, totally understand. I have lost few sleep over that already. =)

^Ohh I see, haha this will probably get interesting, can you check anything else with that ID?

=) nah, I’m talking about Cal’s financial aid website.

log on bearfacts or telebears ;)
