I applied to Washu, Rice and Notre Dame, but withdrew the apps bc aid and stuffs. </p>
<p>Friday will not be fun at all.</p>
<p>WashU rejectee here, holla. Virtually zero demonstrated interest. But I’m hoping to get into UChicago because it’ll give me a good excuse to wear the swagtastic glasses I got from them at school without being accused of being a hipster.</p>
<p>I might be going to see a movie after school on Friday so if I get rejected I won’t have to sit and weep about it.</p>
<p>does anyone know what time decisions actually come out? this is critical because I have to logically plan for checking my decision around my dance schedule friday afternoon/evening haha</p>

<p>Me. I sent an email to my admissions counselor telling him I would absolutely attend if admitted, in addition to adding some things I’ve been doing since November. I know someone that sent emails to 5+ colleges telling them all they were his first choice. Nothing frustrates me more. Nothing</p>

<p>Same here. I wonder how much that actually effects your application. Like if you tell them they’re your first choice, do they actually believe most people?</p>
<p>I’m sorry but I dont think I do. My dream is Yale. However, I sent no email lying, either. If I get in, I will surely attend unless I get in somewhere “better.” Better is in quotation marks because the point from which I view as better would be completely personal. Data-wise, UChicago is just as good as if not better than some Ivy’s.</p>
<p>^Agree with ram. My dream is Yale; but I would never lie to a college telling them they are my first choice when they are not. Frustrating beyond belief when kids do that.</p>
<p>I have a trio of top choices - Chicago, Tufts, and Brown. I’d be equally thrilled to attend each.</p>

<p>Hey guys, what materials show up in your UChicago account? Mine has been saying since January that they’ll open up viewing for things like transcripts later but it still only shows my common app and supplement.</p>
<p>@suppeeps it’s the same with my account. I don’t think there’s anything to worry about though because they would have e-mailed you if your application was incomplete.</p>
