<p>Does that mean that we our decision will be in the mail (if accepted) on Tuesday the 18th or that UChicago mails the letters on Tuesday the 18th?</p>
<p>It means they will mail them out that day I think. Because they aren’t going to mail packets before since mail can’t be guaranteed on the same day in every part of the country.</p>
<p>I applied ED to NYU and EA to UChicago. Both decisions come out on the 18th. I REALLY do not want to die two deaths on the same day. Plus, I have a Calc test on Thursday and an ES test on Friday. This next week will be positively frightening.</p>

I’m yet another anxious EA applicant.
I logged on to my UChicago account again today. I know the decisions weren’t going to be posted tonight but I couldn’t help myself.
Anyways, I noticed a box that I didn’t notice before, the financial aid one. There’s a row asking for my profile and my parents’ 2011 income tax return.
So is this a sign I got in? Did they recently just add this category or has it been there?
And do they ask this of students that will be rejected/deferred?

<p>Academicone: No. It says it’s missing because you haven’t turned it in yet. This is the same case for everyone who’s missing the documents - your case is nothing special.</p>
<p>I’m getting really annoyed at these type of posts, people. Be patient like the rest of us. All you’re doing is feeding into the sense of desparation.</p>
<p>It’s amazing how the UChicago thread compares to that of other top schools. Regardless of any of our decisions its great how supportive everyone has been here, even though we are essentially competing against one another. Good luck to everyone on Tuesday! Getting accepted would be phenomenal…not to mention the number of schools it would save me from applying RD.</p>
