I couldn’t find a thread for the UChicago transfer applicants for this year, so I made one! It is my first time making an official thread, so I’m not sure if I’m doing this right haha. Feel free to post your stats/worries/rants etc. 
Have you received an applicant status page from the school? I’ve received one from all other schools long time ago, but not from U Chicago.
Oh, I just found the portal on my own because I remembered there was one when I applied as a freshman:

But they only show whether they’ve received our applications, not any other mailed materials (eg. transcripts, school reports etc.)
Hmm, so that means that you didn’t get any email about setting up the account from U Chicago for this round, right? I didn’t apply for U Chicago as a freshman, so I don’t have a password for the portal. I just tried “reset password” to see if they’ll send me a password just with my email address. Thanks!
Edit: It worked! Although I only see Common app and supplements, but that still helps. Thanks a ton.
Btw, I’m so surprised that there are so few people applying for U Chicago as a transfer on College Confidential.
They took in 22 transfers in 2012, out of about 2000 applicant.
@artloversplus We all know that. (Or at least I think people should know that if they’re applying to a school) So what are you trying to say by abruptly saying the statistics?
Hmm… maybe artloversplus is trying to say that because the pool has shrunken to 2000 there are fewer people on cc? lol not sure. Personally I’m thinking gosh maybe because it’s UChicago most applicants are too busy studying or something to post haha
@jellymuffin I doubt so. Stanford and Columbia’s threads are bustling, and those are very hard to get in (especially Stanford) as a transfer. Also, I’m taking a full load of credits at top 20 research universities while working 10 hours a week. I guess it’s just a coincidence that there aren’t many U Chic applicants on CollegeConfidential this year

Submitted by Feb 12th and they just opened checklist and all materials were complete by Feb 21st.
Anyone submitted the mid-term report?
there’s no mid-term report required for uchicago 
@rvyuan Did you get the link for checklist through email? I didn’t get any, and I submitted the application in February with all other required doc. I already checked my spam box

Do you guys know when decisions usually come out? Or is it on a rolling basis depending on when you applied?
Also, anyone else applying from a community college?
@slantrhymes On their website, they said results would be available in early May. I’m applying from a four year institution in CA sorry about the second question
