They’ll probably send them around 4 or 5. I remember getting the “deferred” e-mail around that time.

cool cool

im chill im chill lol

They’ve been pushed back another couple of days. :(

Did you call the office?

No. I’m just making stuff up

rolls eyes

Well, I wouldn’t put it past you.

Anywho, I just called and the lady at the admissions office said quote: “they [the admissions committee] are trying to release them today, but if not, then monday.”

my lord…

Do you believe they’re going to end up accepting more past the 77 they did for last year?

Hi. I’m new to the forum, but I’m applying as a transfer from Princeton. I am as anxious as you all, and called about 7 minutes ago. The woman said that “they put the decisions the mail today, but aren’t sure if they’ll post them electronically this time”.

I wonder why they wouldn’t want to release decisions through e-mail/online account. Maybe they want to preserve that traditional checking the mail-opening the letter-revel in joy/suffer in pain that thousands of Chicago applicants have experienced before us.

Then again, that reaction can be triggered upon observing the size & weight of the decision letter.

This seems inhumanely cruel. Gonna be a LONG weekend.

Rejected and relieved. Good luck all.

accepted… but im still waiting on penn…

Same here.

'Twas a bittersweet day. Rejected at Chicago but accepted at Cornell. Perhaps we’ll see each other in Ithaca, Caillebotte.

Accepted at Cornell? Congrats! I’ll see you there!

The moment I saw the word “regret” on the Chicago letter, I felt quite relieved. It made my decision super easy.

cailbotte- how weird. i was rejected from cornell and accepted at u chicago!

rejected, i’m 0-3-1.

rejected by yale chicago, accepted columbia
