<p>Tufts syndrome is when an okay college thinks that your stats are too good and you`re using them as a backup and so they reject you thinking that a better college will accept you and you will go to the better college anyways.</p>

<p>If I were in your situation, I would go to PCC for a year and transfer out and go to USC or something :) No UCR for me.</p>

<p>eggroll, you really should appeal. A guy with your stats should at the very least be going to UCI. Even UCR or UCM, they should refer you. </p>

You should also seriously appeal UCSB and UCD.</p>

<p>Dude, I fall behind in every stat of yours besides GPA, a couple of leadership positions, and I took one more AP class. </p>

<p>I'm sure that there's some sort of angle you could take with an appeal presenting new and compelling information.</p>

<p>I did get 3.81 this semester, but I don't know...
I could also say that I need to stay close to my family because of health issues my mom is facing...but I don't think they'll even buy it even though I'm telling the real honest to effing god truth.</p>
