<p>ok so i know that we have all been waiting feverishly for decisions to come out from our prospective schools, but i can say my wait is over! :) i can share my stats with you if it helps. btw if we could just keep this thread to UCI decisions only. thanks guys and most of all continue to work your butt off in the things you can control e.g. this semester in school. stay strong!</p>

major: PSB
year at ccc: 2nd
gpa at ccc: 3.74
major GPA: 3.51
ECs (keep it limited to important ones): was the co-founder of a youth basketball league, headed a beach clean up over the summer, commissioner of ASG at my ccc. i went to SCC btw.</p>

<p>i got up this morning to check my email and saw i had an email from uci admissions office (3am) saying that my app status had changed. tried to log in but messed up my password like 3 times because my fingers were shaking soo much. finally logged in and the stupid page wouldnt load. as the page blank and loading i thought of how i would i cope with the news if i didnt get in again :( they were not good thoughts. then just as that thought sparked in my head i saw 3 letters at the top left of the page that started like C-O-N and thats all i needed. sorry i just wanted to provide you guys with some imagery. remember for those who havent gotten in just continue to work hard and thats all you can do.</p>

major: psych and social behavior
ccc gpa: 3.40
tag: yes
ecs: was involved with student government, involved with several youth groups around my community, attended several psych conferences in the orange county area.</p>

<p>i am soooo excited. its almost too good to be true! eeeek</p>

<p>Why are you guys so surprised though if you TAG’d? As a UC-to-UC transfer I only wish I had something like that for a little peace of mind.</p>

<p>Anyway, congrats! The sooner TAG decisions are out the sooner regular decisions come out! Yay</p>

<p>I TAG’d but didnt get anything yet (Comp sci & Eng major). It’s good to finally see some decisions coming out. Just means everyday from now on is pretty much fair game for decisions :]</p>

<p>Also my gf applied as a Psychology and Social Behavior major (Non-TAG), but didnt get any acceptance yet. I suppose maybe its a combination of both major and TAG.</p>

<p>Pretty sure its by major right now. Everyone who got accepted so far that I know of have been Psychology and Social Behavior majors. I’m Tagged but didn’t get an acceptance yet.</p>

<p>thanks all! i think they are just going by tag’rs and super high stats because a girl in my class got in for biz econ with 4.0 non tag and another guy got in today with bio non tag. hang in there and try not to stress too much. for those who didnt tag to uci, why didnt you? was there somewhere else you already tag’d to?</p>

<p>^ I tagged to SD. But, SD is mean and never tells you if they accepted your tag or not.</p>

<p>ohh i see. yea i read an article that said they were aiming to accept around 2500 transfers yet they had over 3500 successful taggers who submitted it on time so that is the big dilemma in SD right now… goodluck</p>

I have UCI TAG and my major is civil engineering, but I haven’t heard anything yet :frowning:
It is interesting that they started releasing the results this soon.</p>

<p>Accepted to UCI as a psych major for fall 2012! I have a 3.83 GPA and I did NOT tag to UCI. I am a one year transfer and I didn’t even qualify for tag because at the end of my fall semester I didn’t have 30 units completed. I had 24. I also got accepted to the school’s honors program.</p>
