<p>To anyone losing hope about UCI:</p>
<p>I have a 4.0 GPA, TAP certified, was admitted (TAG) to UCSD, invited for regents at UCLA and I still haven’t heard from UCI. I’m a polisci major btw.</p>
<p>^ILoveSG, I wouldn’t be worrying if I were you. Poli Sci isn’t even impacted…even if it was, you’d still have a great shot.</p>
<p>@BusyBeeh thanks. I have a 4.0 gpa, no IGETC(1 art class left) i have done 1 yr of biology, 1 yr of chem, 1 semester of calc. (i’m taking a second semester right now), and I’m taking my first semester of organic chem. right now.</p>

<p>Anyone here have UCI as their first choice? Judging by how much comments and views it got, it is pretty popular. Almost surpassing UCSD. Lol.</p>

<p>LAforlife, I just checked. I was like wow. UCI is your first choice or another school? I know many people on this site are waiting for UCSD, UCI, UCB, and UCLA.</p>

Not too surprising it has more views though considering that more transfer applicants applied to Irvine than SD. UCLA is my 1st, but UCI is my definitely my 2nd though.</p>
<p>UCI is one of my main options I love the campus, but I wouldn’t mind UCLA or UCB at all lol</p>
<p>I applied for Irvine and still waiting. Lol. I do like how their campus is structured. Majority of the buildings are near each other, like next to each other, which makes it easy going to class.</p>

<p>It’s a really beautiful campus and city. A lot of fun stuff to do in the OC as well. There’s a really nice big park at the center as well. My favorite campus outside of UCLA.</p>

<p>You have a pretty high GPA however last year, my best friend applied to UCI but got rejected and her major was biology because she was missing the last prereq for bio even though she stated that she was going to take the class that summer. Mind I tell you she had a 4.0 and was the summa cum laude at my CC … but its okay I guess cause she’s at USC now</p>
<p>UCI was my #3 choice behind LA and SD but it’s now been replaced with SB. lol</p>

<p>I think someone reported this morning being accepted to the school of biological sciences. Other than that, nothing.</p>

<p>It seems like UCI sends out a batch every 2 weeks or so. I wonder if that will change as we get closer to May.</p>
