Official UCI Transfer admittance Thread

Was it a long time ago? But I guess it just matters that you were able to get all A’s when you retook them. I had a lot of F’s the first time I went to CC. I came back to CC in 09 and got academic renewal so I hope that they’ll see that I’ve improved a lot.=/

I’m in the same boat I have years of poor performance had like a 1.5 GPA slowly rose it now to a 3.15 pretty terrible still but considering where I was in my life I’ll take it.

^^ i think a lot of this depends on how well you addressed this in youre PS on the app. it might be tough considering there a lot of individuals who busted theyre butt and earned 3.5+s. but nonetheless goodluck to you guys and all you can do is hope for the best and work your tail off.

Wonder when the next batch will roll out :/

I think UCI releases them on Wednesday only. Because we did not get any notification for UCI till Wednesday. And today has been quiet.

@ md21887: Same here…

@ bballplyrref:…So I did just that =]

On the website it says “During March admission notifications are posted prior to 9:00 a.m. No admission status changes will occur for the remainder of the day”

I heard someone on here say it’s every Tuesday that they roll out admission decisions. Guess it’s every Wednesday now

=) friend with 3.52 and TAP got in yesterday with computer science. So they are not doing it by major i think.

Hey all,

Do you know your friends stats with respect to prerequisite completion? Or I guess it doesn’t matter if you have tag.

everything, but symbolic logic and physics. I have everything but software engineer, symbolic, and linear

i dont think they do tap for uci? i think you can only tag it?

he tag to uci, but has tap for ucla.

is there a waitlist for UCI? incase i get reject for prefer major and accept for alternate.

guys!! idk about shredderyew. i think he might be trolling. he just posted a whole bunch of random stats and even pretended he was a freshman applicant. beware!!

@^ link some of his posts ? evidences?

You may have a point about ShredderYew:

@bballplyrref i know what you mean not taking away from others. i explained it well in my PS but did not use it as pity rather used failing as a positive if that makes sense… ive been through a lot and hopefully they will see my improvements but who knows.

should we make a ■■■■■ list thread -,-…

@Ferrari4XD

It seems so creepy that trolls would appear in this site. Making a ■■■■■ list would just give them more attention.
