no it’s not

I’m speechless lol. stop trolling me.

Last year had special circumstances though. Too many people TAGed to all the TAG-able UCs and had no intention of actually going there. Which is why all the “less competitive” TAG applicants were wait-listed. However, I believe UCI eventually admitted of of those who were wait-listed. That obviously won’t happen this year because of the new TAG rules. There’s no reason to worry if you have TAG with all of your requirements complete.

i’m speechless how you mentioned its “”""""""""“guarantee”"""""""""’ and excluded UCSD lol. and I agree with Laforlife; last year, one of my classmate didn’t get accepted with TAG. Trust me, he had everything fulfilled. So hey, what’s up with 100%?

It shouldn’t be a problem anymore since you can only TAG to one UC now.

IcedEspresso is exactly right. Only last year did some TAG applicants get wait-listed due to the old TAG rules. But that won’t happen this year due to the new rules. It is 100% this year.

good job soldiers.

The wait is so boring! I did my application the first day that was possible, but I’ll probably end up waiting till the last day for my acceptance.

Only 2 more weeks to go before this is all over!

anyone get rejected? my friend is still waiting. will they send out rejection letter soon?

rejections are way last usually

I got UCI’s ■■■■■ email and i…

THREW IT ON THE GROUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

@chelzmcnamara How would you know rejections are given at way last? For me I still haven’t heard back from any of the campus that I applied to…so just hearing you say this makes me very uneasy :(

@ fredfrep: That isn’t the case with all of the schools. I know the UCSC and UCSB have released acceptances along with rejections. But UCI has not sent out ANY rejections yet so it looks like UCI may be saving them for the end. I also think there are TAG people still waiting so I assume UCI will release at least one more batch of decisions before releasing rejections. But who knows, maybe the next batch will consist of rejections and acceptances.

Just give us a decision already! Torture.

According to last year’s thread, they released a big batch of decisions on April 14th. I was really hoping today was gonna be the day… :(

^just checked

and it seems ROLLING admissions started last year to the equivalency of this week.

the first acceptance that week came around 2pm/3pm we’ll see what happens throughout the week. People were accepted april 18, 19th and 20th, I stopped checking at that point.

^thanks for the clarification.

I’ve been hearing that UCLA’s decisions are coming out this Friday, so I hope to hear from UCI before that.

UCLA this Friday?

Im losing hope on UCI :(
