<p>I got an email from UCI regarding the scholarship that offers specifically to my major. but I don’t know if I get in or not. so what does this email means? any idea?</p>

<p>i got an email about the 2012-13 UC Irvine John Ichiro Yasuda Memorial Scholarship, which is for computer science and engineering majors.</p>

<p>@ aust1nku: I don’t think so. I was offered some specialty scholarships from UCR too but haven’t received any decision from them yet. I think it’s just if you might qualify for the scholarship whether it be your major or that one part on the UC application where you check those boxes/organizations that might apply to you. I could be wrong though.</p>

<p>:( im still waiting for my decision! I applied to tag as well but my major is chemistry. After reading all the before posts and people already getting in with tag and majors, its really worrying me. all i can do now is pray and hope my tag didn’t get rejected gl to all!!</p>

<p>if you’ve satisfied all the requirements for tag, you shouldn’t worry… tag is after all, a <em>guaranteed</em> admission.</p>
