i’m a psych. major with 3.2 GPA much much lower from any of these guys and i don’t do TAG. but, hey try so hard to be optimistic that i will get accepted at either UCI or UCSB LOL</p>

<p>It’s not impacted. Your GPA is high, but your lack of pre-reqs may hurt you.</p>
<p>THANK YOU VERY MUCH @LAforlife! Yeah, I’ve felt that the lack of prereqs will come back to bite me in the butt but I explained in my essay that it was due to me being pre-med which also explains the overemphasis of science classes as well. Will that help anything at all?</p>

<p>It should. Your GPA is pretty good, so there’s a good chance that it will cancel out lack of pre-reqs. No guarantee though obviously. I would definitely say though that your chance of getting in is higher than not (50%+). How much higher? It’s hard to say due to the pre-reqs. Good luck!</p>

I do think it’s kinda weird though that admissions reps tell us that they admit “randomly” yet for the second batch now the majority of students admitted were into Poly Sci or Psych…
I’m a science major and the only Bio majors I’ve heard about who have been accepted accepted so far have been those who were given Regents and the only Pharm Sci majors (my major) admitted were freshmen.</p>
<p>I’m PSB and i’m still pending… ahh guess i didn’t make it. waitlisted at UCSD though so at least that’s something</p>
