Older student with substandard grades from 90’s.
17 Units away from 60 transferrable. Paralegal units (all A’s) earned from CCC all non-trans.
Saw this rejection from a mile away, so I dropped from 19 to 6 units during the drop without a “w” period. Expecting 2 A’s this semester will TAG to UCI in Sept. and apply for Academic Renewal asap.</p>

pre req: only missing ochem and bio chem
EC: volunteer in ER 100+ hrs, dance, violin, figure skating, key club
PS: i thought they were strong. i wrote about how i had to fend for myself after my parents neglected to take care of their children when i was 12, i learned how to be self sufficient, independent and self motivating. i also wrote about how my diagnosis with ovarian cysts/surgery effected me in high school and how i worked hard to sustain all A’s despite missing school for surgery/recovery.</p>

I guess the long wait was a learning experience, it still sucks though. </p>

<p>STILL waiting on my UCI decision…I got into UCLA nd UCSB, but I want to give UCI a chance to dazzle me b4 I submit my SIR for next fall. I think it would be hilarious if they denied me tho after waiting for so long…especially after all of those insufferable ■■■■■ emails they sent in the middle of the month lol -___-</p>
