Official UCLA 2008 decision

^^^^^ yeah WOT 7 days from last wed is the 23rd. So 23rd, 24th max

You're right. She said Wednesday or Thrusday, I obviously suck at counting dates.. :o

only 3 days? it's getting intense.!!!!

I can't wait till the 23rd. If I don't get an acceptance or rejection on the 23rd I am going to be so pssed.

i cant handle the pressurelol, if i get in i dont have to make a decision, im going. if i dont i have to decided between my two other schools... i enjoy not having to make strenuous decisions, so lets pray its good news.

WOT, did you tell your fafsa situation to the rep?

I asked her what about people that couldn't see anything on URSA yet. She said those people may be accepted later if they have good stats but weird situations or that they simply haven't got to the app. (which I doubt for most) but is true of the Film majors and others, etc., But that people that see it are most likely accepted. Her wording was very careful, regardless of all the questions I threw out.

clearly....financial aid award = acceptance.

yup.. 99.9999999999999999998% lol. I wish I had a clue as to acceptance but none of these funny loopholes have worked for me to any school I've applied to thus far. :o

i tried to view the financial aid, and I couldnt get it to work :(

what do you mean you couldn't get it to work? Did you register as new student?

Same here, Woman.Of.Troy.

I hope we find out soon :)

W.o.T

So inversely, that would imply that people who can see their financial aid summary are accepted, did you ask her that?

Yes. I think that's exactly what she was alluding to.

ah Ok, thanks for the response.

If i were you I wouldn't worry too much, maybe much more time is taken in the selection process for majors such as Communications (seeing at the avg gpa is 3.89). I think they actually thorougly read your essay and consider all of your statistics. Even if you don't get in you can be anti-bruin at USC :D. Although it may cost around 48k a year to be anti-bruin o_o.

Good Luck thumbs up

thanks! I was just worried about the pre-req situation.
p.s. expecting to get a nice package, my efc is LoooW. haha.
good luck to you too! :)

hrmm i get "You do not have a Financial Aid Summary for this Award Period."

but i didnt submit a fafsa. i don't see a 'manage my account' link?

is there anyone who applied for fafsa, can see their financial aid summary, but DID NOT get the alumni scholarship call?

Yes, me unfortunately. But I'm not a good candidate for scholarships.

alansda: me
