*OFFICIAL UCLA Admits Fall 2009*

I thought my essays were good but I really didn’t want anyone else to read them because there is quite a bit of personal information (to cover gaps in education, etc.). I know writing is my strong suit, and anytime I write an essay or paper of any kind, I always will try and grade it as I think a teacher would, and mark it up, make corrections/edits until I think it’s in top form.

Major: apply mathematics
GPA: 3.33( it was surprised that i’m in )
Pre-Reqs: miss one
IGETC: Done
School: Santa Monica College
Essay: i think my essay is neat. i guess it counts something in my application
Units: 61
EC’s: volunteer, clubs, generally nothing special.
Work: no
No TAP

i don’t think she was talking about me, i mean, i didn’t mean to be mean. i love when that happens…she was probably talking about the overall excitement of the forum.

lol sweetnezz.
and like some people said, i’d rather not post my essay since i talk about personal experiences. writing has always been my strong point but why am i here trying to defend myself? i’m already accepted :p

I’m a HE… but i do realize that i have a gay username

yeah it is…but i’m fine with gay’s in the cc

GPA:2.7
Major: English.

Hey I’m in man!!! That’s all that matters!

w t f…any GPA over 3.0 I would keep my mouth shut…but that is just unfair for the applicants that were rejected from UCLA with 3.5+

it is unacceptable in my opinion that someone who got a C in community college is a more desirable candidate than others who were qualified and got B’s and A’s regardless of anything else they had on their application…unacceptable

way to rain on his parade

well there are many people with high gpas whose writing skills suck, or who don’t have ecs. i think it’s awesome that someone with a 2.7 got in.

i think it’s awesome he got in and I’m happy for him

i don’t think it’s awesome that UCLA would accept a student at his caliber and reject others who have clearly shown more prowess in school indicated by their grades…

Major: Biz-eco
GPA: 3.7-3.8
Pre-Reqs: Acct2 in Spring
IGETC: Done
School: East LA college
Essay: Great
Units: 90ish
EC’s: generally nothing special.
Work: some during summer

HE gOT IN ASIAN AMERICAN STUDIES and not ENGLISH.
HE IS PLAYING WITH YOU ALL

still…even though that is a stupid major…someone w/ a 2.7 doesn’t deserve to go to UCLA…even if he is a ■■■■■ trying to scam us

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/uc-transfers/702632-ucla-ursa-hack-results.html</a>
PLease

If he’s qualified, he’s qualified. UCLA makes the decision.

His major is not stupid. Asian-American studies is an important part of America’s history.

Don’t be so bitter.
