Did anyone from out of state get in, from PUBLIC OR PRIVATE 4 YEAR UNIVERSITIES?

I was going to apply and want to know if I had a chance even though it’s too late.

Yes, I’m double majoring in English and Asian American Studies and pre-pharmacy. I apologize I forgot to enter that in. It was also pretty late and I haven’t gotten any sleep. But yes. Asian American Studies and English. The classes that did hurt my GPA was my Physics classes and Bio. Oh well.

you too raven

I was just admitted to UCLA yesterday as an Out-of-state transfer student.

STATS = College GPA of 3.86 from Maryland with 72 credits earned, worked at a neuroscience lab, tutored students in both chem and math and advertised/marketed for a sports company.

Congrats guys we did it!

no worries. Thank you so much. And congrats to all of us that got in. I know that you guys worked hard for this!

Major: (Pre) Business Economics
GPA: 3.93
Pre-reqs: Last Math class in process
EC’s: Alpha Gamma Sigma Honor Society, Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, Presidential Volunteer Service Award (100 hours), and some other stuff
TAP at SMC

No TAP? I’m surprised then. 3.7-3.8 is generally mediocre for business econ, but I don’t mean anything… Just thinking that I was too worried with a 3.93 then…

yozoraahlf: you’re in AGS too? lol.

Major: English
GPA: 3.85
Pre-reqs: All done
EC’s: Alpha Gamma Sigma Honor Society, English M&M, and a few other things
No TAP

does anybody know if it’s possible for a Business Econ major (accepted) to finish Calc II in summer? SMC was packed and they had cut so over 150 classes this semester and I couldn’t add a class.

ask a counselor for a definite answer…personally I don’t think you can. I think that you were accepted as a fall 09 transfer not a summer 09…I think I heard of some people taking pre reqs the summer before transfer because of spacial circumstances but I’m not to sure about the specifics

call a counselor or the admissions office

yazzie are your prereqs finished or are they going to be done by this spring?
