Well this I think is proof enough that LA puts a LOT of emphasis on GPA, which imho is a bad thing. I’m a bit surprised because I got into better privates than LA, and a bit disappointed, but LA wasnt my first choice anyways (already turned in deposit for another college, and not the #1 college I got into) so im not too affected. Its more a status thing though, especially for my school.
Ah well, hopefully berkeley judges a little more holistically.
