[] Essays: My common app essay was a comedic one about how much I love Disneyland (we’re talking extremely facetious- it was a huge risk for me so I’m hoping it continues to pay off). My first UC essay was about the severe culture shock I experienced moving from sunny Orange County to Mormon Country (slightly comedic), and my other was about how I began to question my intelligence during junior year because AP Chemistry was ridiculously difficult (I didn’t like this one as much)

[] School Type: Large public
[] Ethnicity: Caucasian
[] Gender: Female
[]Income Bracket: $200,000+
[] Hooks (URM, first generation college, etc.): the only one I can think of that MIGHT have helped me was that I am from Utah, and not a lot of high school students apply to out-of-state schools, but I really doubt that made a difference. [/ul]Reflection
[ul]
[] Strengths: Scores, class schedule, personality shown through essays
[] Weaknesses: I want to be an English major and yet all of my extracurriculars are theatre/music related
[] Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected: My essays were effing hilarious and were coupled with strong test scores
[] Where else were you accepted/waitlisted/rejected: So far, I’ve only been accepted to the University of Utah Honors College. I have not heard back from any of my other schools. Fingers crossed![/ul]
