OFFICIAL UCLA rejects thread!

yummymango, your SAT scores are amazing!! :frowning: i am sorry for you!

Oh I found it. Here it is if anyone’s looking.

https://www.ursa.ucla.edu/gen/menu.asp

Two columns, accepted, yay!!

i can log in to myucla and ursa. I have the two column thing on ursa. And on my ucla it says my college and major at the top right hand corner. You can also view your profile on a link on the left hand sidebar, which then shows your major.

BUT is this all really TRUE?! seems to be so many admits.

psssh get outa here lisa :P

jk, congrats!

I logged in and then i was directed to a page with three columns, yet I logged in again, and no it says I’m unable to have access. Whats up with that? : /

hahaha URSA is maxed out right now with everybody checking

Yeah, this is pretty legitimate. I have been told no less than three times that I’ve been admitted. I first made a myUCLA logon using my 7-digit UC id. Then, it redirected me to that Major>Admit>College thing. I then clicked on a link to Undergrad Admissions and it said: “Now that you’ve been accepted.” Then, I went to URSA or whatever and I had two columns where I could accept my offer. At the top, as the pics show, it called me a “Newly admitted student.”

Sorry, I’m confused. Why does 3 columns mean youre rejected?

I have a 2280 sat (730 cr, 770 math, 780 writ), 800 math 2, 770 chem, and 3.875 UC gpa (if I calculated it correctly - ignoring fresh grades, A = 4, B = 3, up to 8 honors = +1)

And I have 3 columns and got rejected from SD. I feel like I’m going something wrong.

EDIT: @ the guy above me. 3 columns doesn’t mean a reject. It just means you’re not accepted. See what I mean? None of this is official at all.

Congrats Carnacki you want a cookie for saying that you got your acceptance message 3 times in a rejection thread?

Hi paul. wave

there is still hope for the 3 columns. I believe so. God will provide. who wants to pray with me. can’t hurt can it?

Smipims, I know what you mean. I have almost similar stats as you (but got into SD)… 3 columns for me. No access. I feel almost hopeless.

hi danny…

i don’t know a shane…

@simply: what do us atheists do?

everything’s still coming out, it’s not like they’re going to send out all acceptances all at once, right?!

So, is this for sure? I know if yu got the admitted page it’s for sure, but is the not-getting the acceptance automatically mean a rejection? I mean is it possible they are changing them gradually?

^ Hmm, well Davis sent them all out at once…

UCLA appears to put a greater emphasis on GPA in relation to SAT than other selective colleges. Their 25-75% SAT is much lower, for example, than USC. My S with a 3.7 UW, 4.0 UC WGPA also has a three-column.

He made Regents at UCSB, which I’d figured to at least overlap with UCLA admission, but I guess not.

i can sense myself…inching closer to the trojan side and away from the bruin side…=[

4.0UC GPA, 2180 SAT. regents @ SB
