any business majors transferring to ucr?

Did anybody else’s UCR grant be replaced by the Cal Grant?

@ragtime it should reduce or replace the UCR grant. I still recieved a $3K UCR grant on top of my Cal Grant.

@moniiique oh okay! thanks so much and congrats on the extra 3K :D

@ragtime FYI I emailed finacial aid and my counselor updated my offer for me, if you want to speed up the process!

What’s everyone plan this summer?

@btj223 I’m taking calc 2 over the summer! What about u?

Hello guys, just wondering. Do anyone know when transfer students register for classes?

@hypothesis when you go to transfer orientation, you register for classes.

Anyone staring in Summer Session? I’m moving to Riverside in 2 weeks to start!

@erik346x I didn’t know we can take classes at a UC right now.

@charlee619 Planning to take human anatomy over the summer. I want a job, but it’s hard to find one.

@bjt223 yeah anyone can actually, you can even get your financial aid award adjusted to get aid during summer. Although summer housing is pretty expensive. I had to do a sublet for summer

Hey guys remember to do the health insurance waiver if you have your own insurance

Thanks. Although the coverage might be better and less expensive thru the school?! People should compare. My sons might be cheaper with UCR. But personal coverage works better for my daughter at UCI

If anyone fills out the waiver could you please pass along the information needed to complete the waiver? I want to do mine but I only have limited info on my current health care plan.

Moniiique , I own an insurance brokerage , and this health insurance crap with all the recent changes is confusing as hell for me! I’m going to put together an easy to understand summary on the UCR plan ( so i can get a grip on it). I’ll share it here in case it helps any one else

@CollegedadUCI87 thank you, that would be super helpful! I am currently on a Kaiser HMO and I don’t think I’ll need the UCR health care but if it’s better than my currently plan… I’d totally consider it!

I filled out the waiver and messed up on the questions, getting denied lol, so I called and they said to send them a copy of my insurance card.

@drew26 what type of questions did they ask?
