@moniiique @fireball93 @charlee619 I got the same thing. Check in date is on September 19th. Wow, that one month from now.

I got it too!
Did anyone go yesterday to the New Student event?

@ Jpare003 - New Student Event? didn’t hear about it .
… and yes 9/19 is the day!

@tjv35M yeah there was an event for new students both freshmen & transfers. There was people who graduated from there to help us out and give us tips. We did some activities too and met a new people.

hi there, does anyone know the registration date for transfer student? because i checked the schedule on the official website shows that many of the classes have closed. Could anyone give advice on that please!

@kevissss Hi, you will get your classes during transfer orientation.

So I just bought my glen mor parking permit & I was wondering if anyone else was only offered to buy the academic year permit and not the year-round permit.

@moniiique yeh i was only able to get the year round one. atleast we can pay through growl/financial aid haha

@charlee619 okay just wanted to make sure it wasn’t just me haha. True! I like paying it in 3 payments vs 1 payment lol. I had the cash but I’m saving it the September rent instead. Phew!

just got the housing info email, so bummed our roomates arnt included in it D: I want to meet my roomates already!

@charlee619 same here! Luckily I found 1 on here, but I’d like to know the other 2 haha. I seen that it’s released early September, any info the roommates wished to share.

Is anyone staying at Oban? How or when do I find out who my roommate is?

Nevermind, I just read all the newer posts

lame i thought I’d find out who my roommates would be. Anyone have academic orientation tomorrow like me?

thanks, is that the one in the end of August? what if i wouldn’t be attending, and i was wondering how to buy a parking permit in Glen Mor?

@kevissss you go to the ucr parking website and purchase the permit.

Well I went to the academic orientation workshop yesterday. They actually help you taking which classes should you take during the Fall. Plus its especially helpful when they give you a summary sheet. good stuff. Now I know what classes I should take.

Also, I check out the new Glen Mor 2. Not open for the public yet, but the exterior look pretty amazing. I can’t wait to live in there.

Question, is anyone worried about not getting your classes during orientation? I check the UCR website schedule of classes and some classes are filled or need to be waitlist already. I’m afraid that I may not get the classes I need.

@bjt223 yeh im really worried, all my classes look like they are filling up =/ does anyone know how crashing goes?

@moniiique I just realize something. That mean our rooms will be located at Glen Mor 1 and not the new Glen Mor 2 :(. Well damn.
