And I agree! I expected it to be more social but it was alright. I learned a few things I didn’t know. Also met new friends. I did exchange contact info and looking forward to hang out with them when school starts. @drew26‌ I’m also excited to move in to glen mor!! We should throw like a BBQ or something ha!
My classes are Two Math classes a chemestry and a HASS001 for transfers.

@jpare003 if you’re throwing a BBQ, I can’t miss out on that. haha.

I had a good time at orientation. It is what you make of it. I was able to get to know some cool guys in my major and who will be taking a class with me. We exchanged contacts. Our orientation leader was pretty cool too. Ended up chillin with her as a group afterwards. @Jpare003‌ Bbq sounds awesome! Start planning it we move in soon.

anyone in glen mor building B, 3rd floor?

For sure bro @Jpare003‌
How do you know what building we are in??@erik346x

@drew26 its on your contract man.
@erik346x‌ I’m on building M !

I thought I had to go to orientation to get my classes but since I got them the day before, plus I went to the major’s thing… I didn’t see the point in going, and it sounds like I didn’t miss anything.

all it says is D310 and my room number

@drew26 Yup, that’s the one.

@drew26 then your building D floor 3 unit 10 then whatever room # you have or at least that’s my understanding haha.

How many units you all taking

12 or 16. I want to take a language class so I can be fluent in more than 1, but people keep telling to recommend 12 so we can get used of the quarter system. @firstgenstudent

@firstgenstudent‌ I decided on 12 just to adapt better & because I had slim pickings for classes.

I’m taking 17 units @moniiique‌ @bjt223‌

I called, Im in glen 1, and I’m taking 12 just to take it easy. I have an amazing schedule with major gaps, thinking about getting a job possibly on campus or something

@drew26 Same here, I have like Tuesday and Thursday off. haha

FYI my advising / enrolling window opened back up yesterday at noon on GROWL - I was able to add some classes that weren’t available before nd move some stuff around after the orientation time did not leave many options
