<p>Well, that is awesome, and I know a sense of relief that you got into atleast one so far & I feel the same way about calpoly. I applied to sdsu and calpoly as my safety schools right out of hs, and didnt get into either and was shocked. Its like a numbers game and a lottery. There were 77,000 who applied to sdsu and about 7,000 got in when I applied in HS. So its crazy… read this article I had to read for a class of mine… pretty interesting.</p>

<p>Yeah thanks @als926 I just started following them, was up till 4 am yesterday looking at housing options, one of my last criteria for which school I’ll go to, and UCSB just moved on top of USC for my first choice. It has been and looking like it will be a neck to neck finish between SB and SC, I really love both schools. But I read through a lot of the pages of comments and am caught up to most the info, lol lot of pages to go through. </p>
<p>From all the factors I’ve seen so far and by their twitter as well it seems pretty random except for major choice it looks like. But in any case I’ve got early tau, TAG’d, sociology majors are starting to get decisions, and my last name is B lol really could see myself getting used to the beach life i really think and hope i’ll hear from them soon. My only thing is I’m missing 2 history pre-req’s which I don’t think are crucial since I have my math and english and major specific req’s done. </p>
