I still haven’t heard from UCB or UCLA so I still have a chance! /sarcasm

Yeah, it sucks. I was expecting UCSC to be a safety school, and thought I was definitely going to be admitted to Davis since I live fairly close (45 minutes).

and I got a rejection letter today from SDSU and waitlisted to UCSD.

I thought UCSB was a last-resort safety, and i didn’t get into CS. So yeah, I’m pretty bummed out. I thought UCSD was a low match, and I got outright rejected there.

Holding out hope that UCLA/UCB actually read my application head to toe.

@dustinthewind I thought I had a chance with UCSD, but I got waitlisted instead. Some of my friends with 4.5 GPA and 2200 SAT got rejected. And some people at my school with 3.7 GPA with 1300 SAT and taken no APs and have any hardly E.C. got in. Pretty upsetting, since UCSD was my first choice. But I guess congrats to those kids.

@ Legitimately:
Sorry you are still waiting…it’s frustrating they don’t release all decisions the same day.
The good news is the process will soon be over now one way or another so just hang on a little bit longer. My son applied to a lot of schools and this is the first one we have heard from so I understand how much anxiety it causes, especially when so many of other students seem to already know where they are going thanks to either early decision applications, rolling admissions schools, or likely letters. But I think all schools notify by April 1st so next week will be here before you know it! @thefuteng:
When my son logged on to the decision page it said he was accepted to the Honors College right under congratulations for being accepted to UCSB. It’s all on that same page.
