No of you are applyig for the winter you absolutely must have tag.

does anything change on tritonlink when you submit an appeal and they are reviewing it, or no?

Mine hasn’t changed, but I just an email saying UC Merced wants me, I’m still waiting to hear back from UCSD, but seriously considering Merced now. I dont know, I am lost at this point.

Merced and Riverside accept all applicants who were rejected from every UC they applied to.

If it doesn’t work out, reapply next year joey.

haha well thank goodness i only applied to ucsd then, but yeah what do u guys think of merced? I heard its out in the boonies, but I’m so sick of CC I’m ready to go, plus its a UC so it cant be that bad.

i would rather go to riverside than merced, but thats just me

anyone still waiting on their appeal decision?

yes. waiting. Apparently the director has been in conferences, vacation, traveling, meetings ect. ect. ect. I submitted it May 6th. They said at the most 10 days, now still no decision.

alright. yeah, i gave mine directly by hand on the 18th and they said 10 business days. but if you’re still waiting from the 6th, only god knows how long i’m going to be stuck waiting

gave mine directly as well

Hey guys, I have a weird situation. I believe I sent in my appeal on the 10th or so by mail. I didn’t receive direct permission to send an appeal, I just did upon learning the only reason I was disqualified was because I didn’t have one English comp class. I went to a CSU so no one ever notified me. Anyway, I sent in my appeal and I was wondering when/how they will contact me.

^
you dont have to have “permission” to write/send in an appeal. you do it because you want to! (:

you should call admissions asap and see whats going on…hopefully they did receive it!

for UCSD you do need to have permission to send it in. I called them up after not hearing back after a few weeks and they told me they just sent a letter the other day, they also just told me the decision they came to right on the phone

^
really? my best friend appealed without asking and she found out a week ago that she was accepted. thats weird

they say that you have to call them up for them to merit a decision to send in an appeal letter

They have made all appeals decisions. You can call Admissions and ask to speak with someone regarding the status of your appeal. Have your App. ID #.

They told me only a “handful” were accepted.

good luck.

well i’m not even sure that they even read letters because they gave me reasons that i clarified were wrong in their information for rejecting me the first time, when they rejected my appeal

how did the appeal decisions go for you all?
