My advice is to have solid GPA, and if you don't succeed in standardized testing like me, try hard to show that you do have capabilities and smarts by doing well on APs where you have more chance to do well since you study hard for those. Also, good essays CAN make a difference. I am very confident in my essays because my stats are not amazing. Show them you excell in the area you are interested in. I did well in the area I want to study (history/english).</p>
