The thread made for UCSD transfers of fall of 2014 has deteriorated to literally hundreds of posts with no statistics whatsoever, basically people in panic, completely off topic. This is understandable but for future applicants it would be a pain. Not sure if this is unheard of but I think it would be better if people post their admission decisions here so that future applicants will not have to read through all 1000+ posts to see the bread and butter they're looking for. Please do not post anything here except for GPA/ECs/DECISIONS.

Pretty sure people are going to look at the transfer DECISION thread regardless. It’s fine, they look thru all the crap anyways. I did for last years

I’m going to have to agree with @Mik194. It might be annoying to look through the decisions threads last year and dealing with the clutter in them, but I didn’t really expect those threads to be free of them and I don’t think next year’s transfer applicants will expect anything different of us.

The point of this is to make it easier for future applicants. I have never seen a thread get so completely full of crap, there have been around 600 posts will literally nothing but speculation. I’ve read CC for 2 years and never seen a thread go so off topic. Please no one else post until decisions are out, I will edit this with the format to post the decisions when they’re out.

He or she is just trying to create a clear thread. why ur coming down on him like tons of bricks…poor @CaliEconTransfer …

@Cayton just saying, i do think there are some ppl would love to see a clear thread for the decisions rather than to search and search and search in a messy one.

I don’t know how this works but I was thinking also a discussion thread/chance me (like this) and a decisions only thread. But I’m not sure people would adhere to it.

I think it would be a better idea to do a thread at the end with all UCs. were a person can post there stats and all schools they were rejected or accepted to. That would be the easiest thing for future students to look through.

Yeah, sorry for talking about nickelback in the other post, but I do think that there is SOME value in those posting. Some of them actually have useful information.

@CollegeDropout1 Yeah I went to UCSB for my first year, did really well but didn’t like it, then I went to my CC for the second year. My 3.93 is from my A-'s (A- = 3.7) at UCSB. Why do you think that?
