I founded and became the chairman of a Music Department at a branch of the Breakthrough Collaborative, an organization designed to put disadvantaged students in college prep schools and 4-year colleges, and recruited musically inclined friends and other young musicans to teach private lessons over the summer. 2. I'm President of a school club called "Rock 4 Relief" that holds benefit rock concerts with performers from school, (raised over 3,000 dollars from the last one) and (3.) I organize a concert every year for elderly nursing homes around my area, called the "Chocolate Covered Strawberry Tour." 4. I also built homes over the last two summers for victims of Hurricane Katrina with the varsity basketball team.</p>
