If admitted to UF, does that also mean your admitted to your major? Or is that separate. Just wondering because UT does a system with major admission separate and that’s why I am curious.
@nduclaunc You’re admitted to your major, with a very few exceptions (such as biomedical engineering). You still have to meet your majors basic GPA requirements to continue in your major as a junior.
It really is one of the best atributes of UF’s freshman admission process. You’ll also find it fairly easy to switch majors as a freshman/sophomore.

Very sad parent of a multiple Club/Varsity Sport/3.6 unweighted (all honors/ap) 5.5 weighted/31 ACT/1350 SAT student who was not accepted. Frankly, I’m stunned. Not the Essay, I don’t think, but I am having trouble believing there were so many qualified kids my daughter couldn’t make it in. All other State schools were good, but not having the option of Florida is painful. Wish everyone who did get in the best.
